Our Monday started like any other Monday…Rain, Rain & more Rain! Then we noticed that Boston Globe writer Scott Kirsner (also the first-ever person to complete a transaction using AisleBuyer) had written a very good article in the Globe about his experience with AisleBuyer the previous week. Very exciting.
THEN…a phone call at 11:00AM from a producer at the #1 Business Cable Net CNBC. I spent about 15 minutes or so on the phone (she was one of the nicest and smartest press people I’ve EVER dealt with) answering her questions. She was highly complimentary of the positive press we’d been receiving since our launch last Thursday…then she asked: “So…Are You Ready To Meet The World?”…(and can you be across town for a 1:00 interview)?
At which point Andrew (our CEO) and I jumped in his car and braved a HUGE downpour with HUGE winds to arrive at the studio just in time. We had no idea what questions would be asked but we were psyched! And before you know it, we were live on CNBC. Here’s the interview:
